Projects
Duo Monair
The duo founded by Johannes Obermeier (piano) and Edoardo Zotti (saxophone) focuses on the expressiveness of this special formation. The symbiosis between original works and transcriptions enables the boundaries of musical genres to be overcome.
Duality
The saxophone as an intersection of musical ideas and styles. In this project, saxophonists Daniele D'Agaro and Edoardo Zotti take on the challenge of introducing listeners to the saxophone in all its multifaceted diversity, which moves fluidly between the worlds of classical and jazz.
Trio saxophon, cello and piano
Rostropovich described the cello as “the instrument that can imitate the human voice better than any other”.
Stravinsky described the saxophone as an instrument that “speaks, sings and declaims. Its voice is so human that it is almost disturbing”. The meeting of these two instruments, supported by the full harmony of the piano, represents a still rare combination of sounds.
Trio saxophon, violin and piano
Two different instruments whose characteristics could not be more different and yet complement each other perfectly: the violin and the saxophone.
The trio presents this new formation and uses this as inspiration to expand the chamber music spectrum.

Summit
The duo composed of Giancarlo Palena (bandoneon) and Edoardo Zotti (saxophone) pays homage to Astor Piazzolla's Summit, one of the best albums in Piazzolla's discography. Released in 1974 and recorded together with saxophonist Gerry Mulligan, it presents the encounter of two musical genres: Tango Nuevo and Cool Jazz.
